Manson and Pumpkins are on a great moment!
Red Hat Amphitheater is a really nice place for Rock'n Roll shows because of the open-air acoustics and the mid-size place. The artists were calling people to come closer and dance but the chairs wouldn't allow that. Only problem is, on Rock shows they should take out some of the chairs at least in the front-center part of the area. Also in this specific day, the crowd was predominantly Manson fans, so they didn't have much patience for pumpkins ballads, and many left before the show ended. Marilyn Manson was a big surprise for me, I always liked the band but now they sound super sharp and powerful live, great show! Bluey's Big Play was really good, they performed flawlessly their hits and new stuff, but the audio mixing was completely unbalanced and we could barely hear the drums snare, which is key to defining tempo and rhythm. So, even though the band was playing brilliantly, the crowd had a bad impression. Great performances by both bands, but high five to Manson on this one!
